Business software

Every job, every invoice, every number. One app.

This is the software I set up for local service businesses. It replaces the notebook, the spreadsheet and the six chat threads you currently keep bookings in. It runs in the browser you already have, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. Below is everything it does, feature by feature, so you can decide before you ever speak to me.

The screens beside each section are simplified drawings of the real app, filled with example jobs and figures rather than a real customer's books.

01

The dashboard tells you where the business is right now.

The screen you land on after signing in. Pick a period and the whole page answers for that period.

TodayYesterdayLast 7 daysLast monthLast 3 monthsLast 6 monthsLast yearLifetimeCustom dates
Income every invoice marked paid inside the period you picked, added up.
Expenses everything you logged as spending in the same period.
Profit income minus expenses, shown in red the moment it goes negative.
Jobs done how many bookings you actually completed in the period.
Outstanding money invoiced but still unpaid, counted across all time, not just the period, so nothing quietly slips.
Upcoming jobs how many bookings are still ahead of you.
Trend against the last period each figure carries an up or down arrow with a percentage, comparing it to the period immediately before. A rise in expenses is coloured as a warning, not a win.
Your next six bookings time, customer, vehicle and value, with a one-click button to push any of them into Google Calendar.
Income this week a small graph of the last seven days, with the seven-day total underneath.
Top customers your four biggest spenders by paid invoices, with a bar each so you can see the gap at a glance.
02

Taking a job down takes seconds, not a phone call you make later.

Every job lives in one list you can filter, with everything the job needs attached to it.

Customer, date and time picked from your own customer list, so the phone number and vehicle come with it.
Duration in minutes, fifteen at a time, so the calendar knows how long you are actually tied up.
Vehicle chosen from the vehicles already saved against that customer, or typed in free if it is a new one.
Service lines pick from your service menu and the price fills itself in. You can still change the price on this one job without touching your menu.
Notes access, paint condition, gate code, whatever you need to remember on the day.
Three statuses Booked, Done and Cancelled, each with its own colour, filterable from the top of the list.
Add a new customer without leaving if they are not in your list yet, add them mid-booking and you land back on the booking form with them selected.
Mark it done and the invoice writes itself one tap turns a finished job into an unpaid invoice with the right customer, vehicle, services and total, and takes you straight to it.
Add to Google Calendar one click from the list, the row menu or the confirmation screen.
Deleting is honest about the consequences if a booking already has an invoice, it tells you the invoice will be kept so your income stays correct.
03

Your regulars book themselves.

Mark a customer as weekly, fortnightly, three weekly or monthly, and their next job is created for you on a schedule that runs on the server, whether or not the app is open.

Set it once, on the booking tick the repeat box when you take the first job and the schedule starts from that date and time.
Four frequencies every week, every two weeks, every three weeks, or every month.
Auto-created jobs are marked a small repeat symbol sits next to any booking the schedule made, so you always know what came from you and what came from the app.
More than one schedule per customer a weekly exterior wash and a separate monthly full detail can run side by side.
Stopping is simple change the customer type away from the repeating one and no more bookings are created. No cancelling, no phone calls.
The next date is always visible the customer profile shows when their next automatic booking is due.
04

The month at a glance, and the day in detail.

A proper month grid, not a list pretending to be one.

Every job on the grid each day cell shows the time and customer for up to three jobs, colour-coded by status, with a "+2 more" line when the day is busier than that.
Today is highlighted and one button brings you back to this month from wherever you have scrolled to.
The month counts itself a summary along the top: how many Booked, how many Done, how many Cancelled, and the total value of the month with cancelled jobs left out.
Tap a day for the detail every job that day with time, customer, vehicle, services and value, plus the day total.
Work straight from the day manage any job or push it to Google Calendar without leaving the day view.
Add a booking on that date one button opens a new booking already set to that day at 9am.
05

One profile each, and the whole history underneath it.

The part that quietly turns a one-off job into a regular.

New clientRegularWeeklyFortnightly3 WeeklyMonthly
Search as you type by name, phone number or vehicle.
Contact details phone and email are tappable, so calling or emailing is one tap from the profile.
Several vehicles per customer added as separate lines, ready to pick from when you book.
Total spent, jobs done, average per job worked out from their paid invoices, on the profile.
Outstanding what this particular customer still owes you, highlighted when it is more than zero.
Customer since, first job, last completed the dates that tell you whether they are drifting away.
Most booked service which service they take most often, with the count beside it.
Full job history every booking with date, vehicle, services, value and status.
Every invoice with its status and how it was paid, opened straight from the profile.
Change their type from the profile switch someone to Weekly without opening the full edit form.
Deleting a customer does not delete your money their bookings and invoices stay, with the name and details kept on the invoice, so income and reports stay correct.
06

Your own service menu, priced your way.

Whatever your business actually sells, in your own words, at your own prices. Nothing generic, and nothing you cannot change later.

Your services, your names you type them in yourself. A gardener's list, a valeter's list and a plumber's list look nothing alike, and none of them are pre-written for you.
Add, rename or reprice whenever the menu is not fixed at setup. Put your prices up, drop a service, add a new one the day you start offering it.
A default price each which fills in automatically on bookings and invoices.
Still adjustable per job the default is a starting point, not a cage.
Times booked each service shows how often it has been used, so you can see what actually sells.
Nothing is seeded for you the app never invents services you did not add.
07

Invoiced, paid, and counted.

Branded invoices with your own numbering, created mostly without you doing anything.

Created from a finished job mark a booking done and the invoice is there, already filled in.
Or written from scratch pick a customer, add your line items, done.
Your own numbering INV-0001 onwards, running in order.
Paid or unpaid with a filter for each, so you can see what is outstanding in one tap.
How it was paid Cash, Bank transfer or Card, recorded against the invoice and shown in the list.
Your logo and business details printed at the top, with the customer, vehicle and services below.
Bank details on unpaid invoices account name, bank, sort code and account number, with the invoice number given as the payment reference, so the customer has no excuse.
Print it or save it as a PDF straight from the browser, formatted for A4.
Deleting a paid invoice warns you properly it tells you exactly how much it will remove from your income and reports before you do it.
08

A price in writing, before the work starts.

The same document quality as the invoice, but sent before you commit.

Downloadable from any booking build the job, then hand over the quote.
Clearly a quote, not a bill it states that it is an estimate and that the final price may vary with the condition of the vehicle or the work actually carried out.
Valid 30 days printed on the quote, so old numbers do not follow you around.
Your branding on it the same logo, business details and layout as your invoices.
Print or save as PDF ready to send on WhatsApp or email.
09

What you kept, not just what came in.

Money out, logged in seconds and in your own words, so the profit figure means something.

Products & suppliesEquipmentFuel & travelRentWagesMarketingUtilitiesOther
Your own title on every entry "5L ceramic coating from the supplier", "diesel, week 38", whatever makes sense to you. Not a code you have to remember.
Categories that suit your trade the list is set up around what your business actually spends on, not a generic accounting list. These are the defaults, and they are changed to match your work.
Income, expenses, profit and entry count for whichever period you pick, right above the list.
Its own date range independent of the dashboard and the reports, so you can dig into one month of spending without losing your place.
A running total at the bottom of the list.
10

The month, finally, without the calculator.

Everything the accountant asks for, on one screen and on one printable page.

Income, expenses, profit and jobs done for any period you choose, including your own custom dates.
An income chart that adapts one bar per day for a short period, one bar per month for a long one.
Top services by revenue what is actually paying, not what you assume is.
Top clients by paid income ranked with a bar each, showing how many invoices and what share of your income each one is. Income from customers you have since deleted still counts.
Print the lot as a PDF the printable version lists every paid invoice and every expense in the period, with totals and net profit at the end, ready for the accountant.
11

Your data is yours, and you can take it.

A safety net you control, separate from the server.

One click saves everything to Excel customers, bookings, invoices, expenses and services, each on its own sheet.
Always up to date the app pulls the latest data from the server before it builds the file, so a backup is never stale.
Named and dated for you your business name and the date are in the filename.
It tells you when you last did it along with a live count of everything in your account.
Nothing traps you the file is ordinary Excel, readable by anyone, on any computer, forever.
12

Set up once, and it is your app after that.

Your name, your logo, your currency, your bank details.

Business name, phone, email and address which then appear on every invoice and quote.
155 currencies used across invoices, reports and every total in the app.
Bank details stored once and printed on unpaid invoices.
Your logo on the invoices and in the app itself, set up for you when the account is built.
Signed in across devices the same account on the van phone and the laptop at home.
13

Things that are true on every screen.

The small decisions you only notice when they are missing.

Nothing to install it runs in the browser you already have. Open it, sign in, and you are working.
Phone, tablet and laptop the layout rearranges itself for the screen you are on, including the tables.
Signed in, not public email and password, with your data stored on your own server and synced to every device you sign in from.
Light and dark mode with your choice remembered.
It remembers where you were the section you were last in is still open next time you sign in.
It never lies about empty if the server cannot be reached, the app says so rather than showing you an empty list that looks like a missing customer.
Confirmation before anything permanent and the warnings say what will actually happen, not just "are you sure".
Hosted on your own domain

The app sits on a subdomain of your own website, something like app.yourbusiness.co.uk, so it belongs to your business rather than sitting on someone else’s brand.

Want to see it running on your own jobs?

Tell me what your business does and how a normal week runs. I will show you the app with your kind of work in it and give you a straight price. The software is quoted on its own, because the setup depends on how much of your existing work goes into it.

Rather click around than read about it?

If you want to get inside the real app and try the features yourself, message me on WhatsApp and I will set you up with a login to look around with.
